The Q41F/PPL/H manual flange ball valve not only boasts a simple structure and excellent sealing performance, but also features a compact design, lightweight construction, minimal material usage, and small installation dimensions—all within a certain nominal bore range. Additionally, it requires low actuation torque, making operation effortless and enabling quick on-off functionality. As one of the valve types that has seen rapid development over the past decade or so, the manual flange ball valve evolved from the plug valve. Its closing member takes the form of a sphere, which rotates 90° around the valve stem's axis to achieve opening and closing.
Floating ball valves are primarily used in pipelines for cutting off, distributing, and redirecting fluid flow. (5) Easy to maintain, ball valves have a simple structure, and their sealing rings are typically designed to be movable, making disassembly and replacement particularly convenient.
(6) When fully open or fully closed, the sealing surfaces of the sphere and valve seat are isolated from the medium, ensuring that media flow does not cause erosion of the valve's sealing surfaces.
(7) It has a wide range of applications, with nominal diameters ranging from just a few millimeters to several meters—and can be used across conditions from high vacuum to high pressure. When the ball rotates 90 degrees, it should fully expose its spherical surface at both the inlet and outlet, effectively cutting off the flow.
