The Q41F/PPL/H manual flange ball valve not only boasts a simple structure and excellent sealing performance, but also features a compact design, lightweight construction, minimal material usage, and small installation dimensions—all within a certain nominal bore range. Additionally, it requires low actuation torque, making operation effortless and enabling quick on-off functionality. As one of the fastest-growing valve types over the past decade or so, the manual flange ball valve has evolved from the plug valve. Its closing member takes the form of a sphere, which rotates 90° around the valve stem's axis to achieve opening and closing.
Floating ball valves are primarily used in pipelines for cutting off, distributing, and redirecting fluid flow. They find extensive applications in industries such as chemical products, pharmaceuticals, and food processing; in power systems—including hydropower, thermal power, and nuclear power plants; in municipal and industrial enterprises' water supply, drainage, heating, and gas distribution networks; in agricultural irrigation and drainage systems; and even in metallurgical operations. In essence, manual flange ball valves play a crucial role as essential mechanical components deeply intertwined with infrastructure development, national defense initiatives, and daily life.
II. Flanged Ball Valve – Product Features

(3) Tight and reliable—currently, plastic is widely used as the sealing surface material for ball valves, offering excellent sealing performance and making them increasingly popular even in vacuum systems.
(4) Easy to operate and quick to open or close—simply rotate 90° from fully open to fully closed, making it convenient for remote control.
(5) Easy to maintain, ball valves have a simple structure, and their sealing rings are typically removable, making disassembly and replacement quite convenient.
(6) When fully open or fully closed, the sealing surfaces of the sphere and valve seat are isolated from the medium, ensuring that media passage does not cause erosion of the valve's sealing surfaces.
(7) It has a wide range of applications, with nominal diameters ranging from just a few millimeters to several meters—and can be used across both high-vacuum and high-pressure environments. When the ball rotates 90 degrees, it should fully expose its spherical surface at both the inlet and outlet, effectively blocking the flow.
